Pune Weather Update: Light showers continue to drizzle in the city.

Light to moderate rainfall is expected in the coming days, even in Pune. As of Monday, heavy rainfall has already occurred in parts of Maharashtra, and there may be a reduction in rainfall in the state.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall is expected in the coming days, even in Pune.

Additionally,  widespread light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds over parts of Maharashtra, including Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada.

The intensity of rainfall has decreased, with no yellow or orange alerts for these regions from June 13.

The IMD also expects isolated heavy rainfall during the June 10-11 period. As of Monday, heavy rainfall has already occurred in parts of Maharashtra, and there may be a reduction in rainfall in the state.

More areas of Maharashtra and the north Arabian Sea have been affected by the southwest monsoon. Over the next two days, there is a good chance that the southwest monsoon will continue to move into more areas of the north Arabian Sea, some of south Gujarat, and some more of Maharashtra.

On Monday, between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm, Shivajinagar saw 7.6 mm of rain. Lohegaon saw barely 3 mm of rain in the same time frame.
