Pune Weather Update: Partly cloudy weather likely in city; Thunder, lightning in Maharashtra

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Pune has predicted that the city will experience partly cloudy weather in Pune today (27^th February).

As per further information from the X handle of Anupam Kashyapi, Head, Weather Forecasting Division, IMD Pune “Again, orange alert given in Amravati, Gondia, Bhandara, Nagpur & Vardha. Fresh rain spell with thunder, lightning, hail likely over areas of Maharashtra (especially Vidarbha) & Central India on 26, 27^th. Pune likely to see partly clouding. Avoid standing in open/under trees during lightning.”

In Konkan-Goa & Madhya Maharashtra, the weather is likely to remain clear from 27^th February to 2^nd March 2024. In Marathwada, on 27^th February, some places might witness rainfall. From 28^th February to 2^nd March, weather will likely remain clear. In Vidarbha, on 27^th February, some places might witness rainfall. Lightning & hailstorms might also happen. On 28^th & 29^th February, rainfall might be there in some places. On 1^st & 2^nd March, weather will likely remain clear.
