Shinde requested the public not to play with fire or light cigarettes in forest areas as it can cause harm to human lives as well as animals. Sometimes, forest fires become uncontrollable and could have spread in nearby areas such as Bhillarwadi and other garages and godowns. He has also urged the security of the forest department to write a letter to the police asking them to increase surveillance and prevent people from lighting cigarettes. Moreover, Shinde also requested the forest department to increase security and make sure there is a time limit for the public to visit as it creates traffic jams near the highway road.
