Pune youth Zaki Sayyed to join NDA 

Pune: Zaki Sayyed (aged-18yrs), a resident of Bhosari has been selected to join NDA. He will join the 151st NDA Course and will report to NDA on 02 Jan 2024. Zaki qualified the NDA & NA written exam which was held on 16 April 2023. 

Subsequently he qualified the SSB Interviews held at Bangalore in the last week of June 2023. He stands 387th in the All India merit announced by the UPSC. He is a student of Apex Careers and received guidance from Lt Col Pradeep Brahmankar (Retd) and faculties of Apex Careers.

          Zaki has done his schooling from National Centre for Rural Development NCRD’s Sterling School, Bhosari. Zaki got motivated to join the Army during his visit to NDA along with his schoolmates, which was organized by his school. He secured 98.09% in X CBSC Boards. Zaki joined Kamalnayan Bajaj Higher Secondary School Chinchwad for his 11th /12th. He joined Apex Careers for XI+XII+NDA, a two year coaching as he was an NDA aspirant. He secured 88% in his XII HSC Boards. Scored 95 percentile in MHTCET.

          Zaki’s Father Mr. Javid Sayyed is an M Tech in Mechanical Engg and works as a head of design department in Advent Technologies, Chinchwad. His mother, Mrs. Nazneen Sayyed is a homemaker. Zaki has one elder sister, Ms. Zuveriya Sayyed who is pursuing Aeronautical Engg at Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal.

          Zaki has played Cricket and Kabaddi at district level, representing the School and has also played Football at Inter School competition. Zaki’s hobbies include reading, drawing sketches and listening to music. He also likes to watch Cricket, Kabaddi, football, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) matches.

          Zaki feels that the constant inspiration provided by Lt Col Pradeep Brahmankar during his SSB training has been a major contribution to his success. He gives credit of his success to his parents, sister, Lt Col Brahmankar and all the teachers of Apex Careers.
