Rainfall with thunder activity at isolated places in Pune today
Pune: India Meteorological Department has issued a thunderstorm with rainfall at isolated pockets of the Pune and adjoining area for the next few hours.
In its current warning, IMD officials told that, Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and light to moderate spells of rain with short period strong gusty winds reaching around 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at places like Pune ,adjoining area of the Pune city,Kolhapur, Satara, Nashik for the next 1-3 hours.
IMD officials further said that possibilities of hail at isolated places are likely to happen so take precautions while moving out.
As per RADAR image today also Pune city and adjoining areas may have received thundry activity. Cumulonimbus clouds are very likely to form .High summer temperature associated with moisture from Arabian sea through westerly winds resulting in local instability in and around the Pune city and district.There are very likely chances of short period winds with very light rain is there in isolated places.
