Ram Mandir: Possibility of train schedules from Pune to Ayodhya to be revised
Last Monday, January 22, the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony was held in Ayodhya with great enthusiasm. Pooja was performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many dignitaries of the country were present for this ceremony. After that, this temple was opened for the general public from the second day i.e. January 23.
Devotees from all over the country come to this temple for darshan. It was announced that special trains will be starting from Pune to Ayodhya so that the Pune people could also go to Ayodhya and have darshan of Lord Ram.
These trains were supposed to start on January 30, but now the schedule of these trains is likely to be postponed due to overcrowding in Ayodhya. That is why the devotees who want to go to Ayodhya from Pune may have to wait for some more time. There is no clear information as of now about when exactly these trains will run if the original schedule is revised.
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will run these trains. However, tickets can be reserved only if there is a group of passengers & not for a single passenger. This requires a group of at least 15 passengers.
