Rasta Roko in Manjari Keshav Nagar : Residents seek PMC’s attention over poor condition of road 

To voice concerns & frustrations regarding the poor condition of roads like Manjari-Keshavnagar main road, roads in Hadapsar & more, Shiv Sena Pune has organized a massive Rasta Roko protest on 15th December (Friday) from 11 am at Mahatma Phule Chowk, Mundhwa.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Pramod aka Nana Bhangire, Ex Corporator & Shiv Sena Pune city president, said “Since several years, traffic jams till around 2 kms on several roads in Hadapasar, near Mahatma Phule Chowk, Manjari-Keshavnagar, Mundhwa etc. Also, all the encroachments on these roads must be removed & roads should be widened. Many other road & traffic related demands are there which will be put forth in the Rasta Roko protest. Thousands of people are expected to join the protest.”

As per further information, be it the Kondhwa road in Hadapsar Assembly Constituency or the main road in Keshavnagar-Manjari, the entire Hadapsar area is in the midst of traffic jams, there is a huge traffic jam on every road. Hence, the PMC should plan immediately and smoothen the traffic system in Hadapsar area.

Thus, along with thousands of citizens, Shiv Sena Pune will hold a large-scale Rasta Roko protest at Mahatma Phule Chowk, Mundhwa on Magarpatta-Kharadi Bypass main road tomorrow on 15 December 2023 at 11 am.
