Residents of Nancy Tower, Raheja Garden and adjoining societies are facing tough time to walk and drive their vehicles due to the ongoing work of laying storm water line.

The residents alleged that the work has been delayed and has not been done correctly. A resident complained that the work which has finished from our society gate near Raheja Garden must be done properly so that not only senior citizens but also other residents face no inconvenience.
Another resident from Nancy Tower complained that the work has added to the chaos at the Nancy Tower junction. PMC should finish the work soon and ease our problem.

When Pune Pulse spoke to Ganesh Puram, junior engineer, drainage department, PMC said that the work of laying stormwater lines has come from the nala side. It should get over in the next few days. The work for resurfacing the road will happen too after the work is over. We are working in a restricted time zone so that local residents don’t face any inconvenience. We can’t work in the afternoon and night period as loud noise will disturb the residents and also can’t work after 5 PM due to traffic issues. Hence, the work has been delayed.
