Rotary Club of Pune Amanora entertains senior citizens with live music
After a long pause due to Covid, Suhana Safar team of Rotary Club of Pune Amanora had an opportunity to perform live for the Senior Citizens’ Association Pune Central, at Bund Garden Joggers’ park, Pune on August 7.
About 200 senior citizen members of the Association from the age group of 60 to 90 years attended the event and enjoyed it wholeheartedly.
The singers of Suhana Safar performed so meticulously mesmerizing the audiance. They whistled and screamed and danced to the tune of their favourite albums.
The singers of the group included Ajit Lilani, Saraswati Venkat, Dr.Geetha Mohan and Sathish Narayan who sang popular songs always favourite amongst seniors. The other members attended the event were Dr Midha, Rita Midha, Aiyaz and Shehnaz.
The Secretary of the Association greatly appreciated the efforts in entertaining the seniors this way.
Mr. Khan, Mrs Golwala and other members cooperated well in organising the event and desired to have more events oin future too.
RCP Amanora through this signature project SuhanaSafar is happy to have fulfilled the theme ” make them smile and bring happiness ” to the needy community. As a mark of respect for India celebrating the 75 years of Independence, the flags were waived at the end of the event.
