A resident of Palash society, Saanvi Kudtarkar has won the skating championship held in Goa recently.

Saanvi Kudtarkar, a 9.5 year old skater will soon be representing India at the national level skating championship to be held in Bangkok.  Saanvi took everyone by surprise with her performance at the Skating championship held in Goa recently. Saanvi won bronze medal here under 10 years age category at the Goa tournament. She achieved this feat in a open category against all the odds. 

After bagging a bronze at the open national level championship, Saanvi is all set to represent India at the International championship which will be held in Bangkok. She has been undertaking training for approximately six to seven months under the guidance of her cooaches Shabbir Shaikh and Wasim Shaikh. When Pune Pulse reached out to Sanvi’s father, Sushant, who works as a programming manager in an IT company he said, “I am happy with her achievement, but there is still need of improvement in her training as the competition is tough.

I am hoping that in the coming days she will prepare herself well to represent India in Bangkok
