Significant development projects like Santpeeth and a Town Hall have been established in Chikhli, along with the construction of a parallel road connecting Dehu and Alandi, and an 18-meter-wide road from Chikhli to Akurdi. These transformations in the Chikhli area have been realized due to the efforts of Bhosari MLA Mahesh Landge, affirm the residents of Chikhli and Kudalwadi, pledging their support for him.

The community gatherings organized for BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP-RPI and allied Mahayuti candidate, MLA Mahesh Landge, saw enthusiastic participation from the residents of Chikhli and Kudalwadi. Citizens extended a warm welcome to MLA Landge in multiple localities, marking the visit with great enthusiasm.

During these visits, former Mayor Rahul Jadhav, Deputy Mayor Sharad Bohade, and numerous Mahayuti representatives and party workers were present in large numbers. The gathering included prominent figures like Nevle, More, Yadav, Balghare, Malekar, Pawar, and Jadhav, along with traders and North Indian residents who joined in high spirits. Women from the community created rangolis to welcome the group. The visit commenced with blessings at Chikhli’s Bhairavnath Maharaj temple, followed by a walk-through of Harghude Vasti, Nevle Vasti, and Kudalwadi areas.

Expressing his gratitude, MLA Mahesh Landge remarked, “The people of Chikhli have consistently supported me since my first election, and I am committed to their development. The infrastructure, roads, and Town Hall here are my contributions to the community. We have also secured a reliable water supply to meet local needs, and I will ensure no lack of funding for the continued progress of this area.”

Community Response:

To make Pimpri-Chinchwad self-reliant in water resources, 268 MLD water reservation from Andra and Bhama Askhed has been approved. Of this, 100 MLD has reached Chikhli’s water treatment plant, with the remaining 168 MLD scheduled for completion by June 2025. This will address the water needs of surrounding villages for the next 25 years. Additionally, the Pavana closed pipeline project has been reinstated, and a proposal for a 750 MLD water reservation from Mulshi Dam has been submitted to the state government. Efforts are ongoing to secure this water resource. – Mahesh Landge, MLA, Bhosari Assembly Constituency, BJP, Pimpri-Chinchwad
