Shah Rukh Khan Faces Death Threat, Police File FIR Following Phone Call
Shah Rukh Khan, the actor, received a threatening phone call on Thursday, leading the police to file a First Information Report (FIR) in response.
The Bandra Police in Mumbai have filed a case against an unidentified individual after receiving a threatening call on a police landline, which warned of plans to kill Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. The police are now investigating the matter in coordination with the Cyber Police Station. The case has been registered under Sections 308 (4) and 351 (3)(4) of the BNS.
This incident follows a series of death threats received by Salman Khan from the infamous Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has been targeting him due to his alleged involvement in the killing of a black buck and has demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore.
Taking the threat seriously, the police have launched a comprehensive investigation, with the Worli Police Station also registering a case and actively tracing the phone number linked to the threat. “In the case concerning actor Salman Khan, the process of filing the case is ongoing at Worli Police Station. We are working to trace the number from which the threat originated,” stated the Mumbai Police.
Sources further mentioned that the Mumbai Police team has been dispatched to Raipur for further investigation on this.
