On October 14, Pune city experienced one of the scariest day ever as heavy rains in a short span created havoc in low lying areas.

Wexternal Maharashtra alongwith Pune have been yellow alert as per the weather department. Several bridges, low lying areas experienced heavy water logging. The weather department recorded highest rainfall in Shivajinagar as 74.3 mm while Lohegaon got only 0.2 mm, Chinchwad got 6.5 mm rain only. Overall city received around 3 cm is equal to 30 mm rain i.e moderate rain on an average. The intense spell of rain created problem in low lying areas. It is advised to remain careful in the next couple of days as more rains are expected.
