Shocking !!! 1 dead several injured as EV bus loses control in Navi Mumbai
In a shocking incident, an electric bus of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation lost control due to high speed and collided with 7 cars and a two-wheeler leaving 1 dead and several injured. The incident occurred in Uran. Two people riding a two-wheeler on the Khopta Koproli road were hit by the bus. It then hit another 6 – 7 two-wheelers and a tempo as well. The injured were rushed to the hospital.
Shockingly, the speed of the EV bus was such that the bus did not stop after the impact and entered a side shop hitting a mini tempo on the way.
In this accident, one person was killed, one biker was seriously injured and one is in critical condition. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Navi Mumbai for treatment.
This incident caused worry amongst the citizens as a fund of 3 crore 75 lakhs had been sanctioned for the road. But the road work has deteriorated with time without any maintenance.
