The entire incident was captured on CCTV. The child sustained a fractured leg, while the aunt suffered severe injuries. Surprisingly, no case has been registered so far.
The CCTV footage clearly shows the car driver’s fault, leaving no room for speculation. However, the child’s father has reportedly told the police in writing that it was his child’s mistake as he ran in front of the car. This statement has raised eyebrows, leading to suspicions of potential pressure on the father.

What Does the CCTV Show?
The footage reveals the child and his aunt walking along one side of the parking lot when a car, initially moving straight, suddenly veers and hits them. Nearby residents rushed to the scene immediately after the accident.
Another Incident in Pune:
In a separate case, a car accidentally plunged from the second-floor parking area of Shubh Apartments in Viman Nagar on Sunday morning. The driver, intending to move the car forward, mistakenly reversed it, causing the fall. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, and the incident was also caught on CCTV.
Both cases underline the need for greater caution and accountability to prevent such accidents in the future.
