Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shekhar Singh praised the children of Municipal Corporation employees for excelling in education, arts, research, and sports, noting that their achievements enhance the city’s reputation. He expressed pride while honoring Shivraj Pradeep More, son of PCMC Water Supply Department’s Draftsman Sanjivani More, who was recently commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army at the age of 22.

Shivraj met Commissioner Singh before joining the Army, during which the Commissioner applauded his dedication and achievements. Present at the event were Public Relations Officer Praful Puranik, Sanjivani More, and other PCMC officials.

Born on May 11, 2002, in Rashin, Ahmednagar district, Shivraj resides in New Sangvi. He completed his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ganeshkhind, Pune. With a background in sports guided by his father, a sports officer with the Maharashtra Government, Shivraj excelled in lawn tennis, representing at the national level six times.

After Class 12, Shivraj cleared the Technical Entry Scheme examination in his first attempt and underwent training at the Officers Training Academy, Gaya, Bihar. He completed Phase 1 basic military training and pursued Phase 2 at the Cadets Training Wing of the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, Secunderabad, earning a B.Tech in Electronics Engineering.

During training, Shivraj received numerous awards, including a gold medal, and was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the presence of the Army Chief.
