Temporary traffic changes announced due to grade separator work in Kondhwa-Katraj road; Check details
Pune : Provisional orders issued regarding vehicular traffic changes in Kondhwa
Traffic changes have been issued ahead of the work of putting slab on the grade separator at Kanha Hotel Chowk in Kondhwa.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Vikas Dhakane, Additional Municipal Commissioner, PMC, said “Work of putting a slab on the grade separator at Kanha Hotel Chowk will begin from 20th January (Saturday). Hence, traffic changes in temporary form will be implemented.
Due to the traffic changes, the work of putting slab on the grade separator being erected at Kanha Hotel Chowk will take place seamlessly.”Vikas Dhakane further added that the roads, one from SBI – Kanha Hotel – Smashan Bhumi to Khadi Machine Chowk & the other from Khadi Machine Chowk – Gagan Unnati – Kanha Hotel to SBI, will remain one-way roads till the grade separator slab work gets completed which will take around 4 months.
As per further information, Additional Municipal Commissioner Vikas Dhakane, along with road department officials, inspected the grade separator work. Along with grade separator, instructions have been given to install street lights and speed breakers at some places on the route.
