The fire department of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) had taken effective & proactive measures to support & stabilize the tilted structure, averting any mishap –
The residents from the neighbouring building were evacuated safely & relocated to a safe place. With the help of the Police, barricading was done around the tilted building to ensure that nobody enters the building.
To stabilize & give leverage to the building, effective support with iron jacks and some other materials had been given. The operation of reducing the load in the building was started for which technical advise was seeked from experts.
