Traffic diversions announced near Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Mandir on Jan 10
Shivaji road to remain closed on January 10
On the occassion of Angarki Chaturthi on January 10, it is anticipated that many devotees will visit the popular Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati mandir to seek blessings of Lord Ganesha.
To avoid traffic congestion on the road, the Pune city traffic police has decided to keep the Shivaji road closed for traffic on January 10 for the entire day (till crowd is reduced).
The Pune city traffic police, Vijay Kumar Magar, deputy commissioner of police, Pune City Traffic Police has issued diversion :
- Puram chowk to Bajirao road – Shivaji nagar vehicles should turn towards Puram chowk to Tilak road – Alka Talkies – Fergusson College Road
- Vehicles going from Shivaji road to Swargate, must take the S G Barve chowk to J M road to Khandoji Baba chowk – Tilak chowk – Tilak road
- Vehicles going to PMC must take the S G Barve chowk to J M road to Jhansi Rani chowk left turn.
- Vehicles going to Appa Balwant Chowk to Budhwar chowk should take Bajirao road
