Pune police seizes e-cigarettes from shops around schools, colleges

The Pune City Police raided shops around popular schools and colleges and seized e-cigarettes and vaping devices

The action was conducted by Pune City Police in Koregaon Park, Bharti Vidyapeeth, Lashkar police station jurisdiction.

The action was conducted by Crime Branch Unit 2 on Saturday, January 7 and seized materials from over nine shops worth Rs 10.52 lakhs.

The action was led under the guidance of Retesh Kumar, IPS, Commissioner, Pune city police, Joint commissioner of police, Sandeep Karnik, Additional Commissioner of Police Ramnath Pokale, deputy commissioner of police (crime) Amol Zende, assistant commissioner of police (crime branch unit 1) Gajanan Tonpe, PI Krantikumar Patil, API Vishal Mohite, Police constable Vinod Chavan, Sanjay Jadhav, Mohsin Shaikh, Gajanan Sonune, Ujjwal Mokashi, Samir Patel, Kadir Shaikh, Sadhana Tamhane and, Reshma Ukarande.
