In a heart-wrenching incident in Vishrantwadi, two sisters met with a fatal accident when their motorcycle was involved in a catastrophic collision with a tanker.

The heart-wrenching accident unfolded on the public road adjacent to the Buddhist Vihar at Vishrantwadi Chowk, around 4:15 PM last Monday. Sadly, this grievous mishap claimed the lives of the two sisters who were riding together on the ill-fated motorcycle.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community in the area. The two young girls who lost their lives in this tragic accident have been identified as Shraddha Satishkumar Jha (4 years old) and Sakshi Satishkumar Jha (4 years old).

Their mother, Kiran Satishkumar Jha (40 years old), also suffered severe injuries during the collision. In response to the incident, a formal complaint has been lodged by Satishkumar Harinarayan Jha (40 years old, residing in Sant Tukaram Nagar, Matoshree Park, Bhosari).

Subsequently, the Vishrantwadi police have initiated legal proceedings against the truck driver, Pramodkumar Ramlal Yadav (27 years old, hailing from Gauramafi in Pratapgarh district, Uttar Pradesh), who was operating the truck at high speed when the collision occurred.

Reportedly, the accused Pramodkumar Yadav is alleged to have forcefully struck the motorcycle driven by Satishkumar Jha, resulting in a catastrophic impact. This shocking moment forced everyone on the road to scramble for safety, tragically leaving the two sisters fatally injured.

Regrettably, they succumbed to their injuries. However, their mother, Kiran, managed to survive the accident but sustained significant injuries. In response to the tragic incident, senior police officers swiftly arrived at the scene to gather more information and assess the situation.
