‘Ultraman’ Lt Col Swaroop Singh Kuntal completes 100 km bicycle ride covering various areas in Pune

Pune: Lt Colonel Swaroop Singh Kuntal known as Ultraman  presently posted at Military Institute of Tecchnology completed a 100 km bicycle ride in the morning of January 27 from Khadakwasla to Chakan through the city. It took 4 hours and 10 minutes for him to complete the ride.

Talking about the 100 km ride Lt Col Swaroop Singh Kuntal said, “It was a wonderful ride along the city roads passing through Dhayari, Rajaram chowk, Shivaji nagar, Dighi hills, Alandi and finally Chakan.”

Lt Col Kuntal is a Paratrooper, an IITian,  Ironman,  Ultraman, Triathlete and Ultramarathoner. In the past he has won a number of Ultramarathons and triathlons including fastest Indian in Ironman Malaysia 2019 and Winner Ultraman India comprising 10kms swimming,  420kms cycling and 84.4 kms running in oct 2022 at Pong dam Himachal Pradesh. 

He started his journey 5 years ago and has been practicing cycling and running on alternate days. While, on Saturday, Sunday and on holidays he does workouts including strength training, short rides, running.
