Addressing a gathering in Akkalkot within the Solapur Lok Sabha constituency, Union Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari expressed optimism about India’s developmental trajectory under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

He envisioned a future where farmers across the country would travel in air-conditioned buses, equipped with laptops.

During rallies held in Solapur, Madha and Sangli Lok Sabha constituencies, Gadkari highlighted the transformative initiatives undertaken by the central government over the past decade. He underscored the need for continuity in governance, urging voters to grant Prime Minister Modi another opportunity to represent India on the global stage.

In the Solapur constituency, Gadkari lauded the implementation of the Smart City project in urban areas and announced plans for the introduction of the Smart Village concept in rural regions during the upcoming term. He emphasized the government’s commitment to holistic development, catering to the needs of both urban and rural populations.

Furthermore, Gadkari refuted claims made by the Congress party regarding the potential scrapping of the Constitution if the BJP returns to power. He clarified that while certain amendments may be considered to enhance public welfare, the fundamental principles of the Constitution, including freedom of expression and fundamental rights, remain inviolable.

Gadkari’s remarks underscored the government’s vision for inclusive progress and technological advancement, symbolized by the prospect of farmers accessing modern amenities such as air-conditioned transportation and digital devices.
