The maiden Vande Bharat Express in Marathwada is likely to run between Jalna and Mumbai via Aurangabad railway station. The train may run between December last week or early January.

The way has finally been cleared to run the eight-coach Vande Bharat Express between Mumbai-Jalna.
Railway Board has given details of six Vande Bharat trains. In this, two Vande Bharat’s each have been given to Central and Northern Railways, one each to Western and Southern Railways.
With the approval of Vande Bharat for the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, Vande Bharat will now run through the Kashmir Valley as well.
The birth place of Saint Ramdas Swami, Anandi Swami Temple known as Pratipandharpur and other pilgrimage sites are in Jalna. Vande Bharat will provide a fast and comfortable option for Mumbaikars traveling here.
The 44th and 46th eight-coach trains of Vande Bharat have been handed over to Central Railways. One train will run on Mumbai-Jalna route.
