Global stages are once again echoing with the voice and energy of Sunidhi Chauhan, as her recent concert performances continue to dominate online conversations. Every show is packed with power, confidence and musical brilliance, quickly turning short clips into viral sensations across social media platforms.

With this surge of attention, however, a darker side of the internet has followed. A section of online users, often labelled as misogynistic trolls and incels, has begun targeting the singer with age-shaming remarks and personal attacks. Their criticism largely revolves around her bold stage presence, questioning why a 42-year-old woman should perform with such confidence and flair.

After batli neha kakkar, now this 42yr old budhiya sunidhi chauhan is desperately trying to become nicki minaj or dua lipa,

Why do they think they’re from hollywood or something with this figure? even this kind of dress doesn’t suit them. https://t.co/h1zykcSd33 pic.twitter.com/Dr2Ur56Z0g

Some comments go as far as drawing unnecessary comparisons, placing her alongside Neha Kakkar or accusing her of imitating Western pop stars like Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. These remarks have sparked widespread criticism, with many calling out the hypocrisy and narrow mindset behind such trolling.

Fans and music lovers have come out strongly in Sunidhi Chauhan’s defence. They highlight her extraordinary vocal range, technical mastery and decades-long contribution to Indian music. Supporters argue that her singing ability and stage command are in a league of their own, far beyond superficial comparisons or imported stereotypes.

At the same time, many voices online have pointed out the unfairness of dragging Neha Kakkar into the debate. Defending one woman by undermining another, they say, only fuels the same toxic culture. The conversation, according to them, should remain rooted in respect, individuality and appreciation of talent rather than comparison.

What remains undisputed is Sunidhi Chauhan’s legendary status in the music industry. With years of chart-topping songs and unforgettable live performances behind her, she owes no explanation to social media critics.

Pune Traders Oppose Additional 1% User Charge on Agricultural Market Transactions, Demand Withdrawal of Circular

Pune, June 3: Traders' organizations across Maharashtra have expressed strong dissatisfaction over the circular imposing an additional 1% user charge on transactions in the grain and agricultural produce markets under the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC).

Speaking on the issue, Saurabh Shekhar Kunjir, President of the Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Market Yard Adte Association, Pune, said that the new levy has triggered concern among traders and market stakeholders across the state. He urged the government to reconsider the decision and withdraw the circular.

The Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Market Yard Adte Association has also extended its support to the Poona Merchant Chamber Association ian opposing the additional user charge. Traders believe that the extra financial burden could adversely affect market operations and increase costs for stakeholders involved in agricultural produce trading.

The associations have appealed to the state government to review the policy and take a decision that safeguards the interests of traders and the agricultural marketing sector.
