Weddings are usually incomplete without guests—relatives, friends, and well-wishers who come together to celebrate the union of two people. Often, there is that one special guest everyone hopes will make an appearance. But while most couples only dream of welcoming a celebrity to their big day, one groom turned that wish into reality, leaving his bride completely speechless.
A couple named Aravind and Kajal have been sharing beautiful moments from their wedding celebrations on their Instagram page, kaadhals (love). One video in particular has caught widespread attention, showing how Aravind surprised Kajal by bringing Tamil cinema star Suriya to their wedding as a guest—an unexpected moment that instantly won hearts online.
The video begins with Kajal waiting inside the wedding hall when Aravind walks in alongside Suriya. Dressed in a stylish monochrome outfit and sunglasses, the actor is warmly welcomed by the family. As soon as Kajal realises who is standing beside her groom, her reaction says it all—her eyes widen in disbelief before she covers her mouth, struggling to process what she’s seeing. Suriya then interacts with the couple, speaks to the bride, and poses for photographs, making the moment even more memorable.
Sharing the video, Kajal wrote, “This is what ‘knowing your person’ looks like!” The text displayed on the clip read, “Edhirapaakala la? Naan varuven nu edhirapaakala la?” which translates to, “You didn’t expect it, right? You didn’t expect that I would come, right?” Aravind also expressed his gratitude, writing, “Thank you so much @actorsuriya sir for making our occasion more memorable than ever.”
Fans were just as surprised as the bride to see Suriya attend a fan’s wedding. One user expressed, “What else she could dream for?..
