Viral: Shikhar Dhawan emotional post for son, Zoravar

Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan shared a heartfelt moment on his Instagram account, expressing his love for his son, Zoravar.

The post has garnered 2.3 million views and over six lakh likes within only 16 hours of being shared. Cricketer Harbhajan Singh reacted to the post with a red heart emoji.

The 37-year-old, who captains Punjab Kings in the IPL, has been going through a tumultuous time in his personal life as he recently got a divorce from his wife.

Dhawan posted a screenshot of his video call with his son Zoravar and added some poem lines by lyricist Gulzar.

“Ek Ajeeb Si Betaabi Hai Tere Bin, Reh Bhi Lete Hai Aur Raha Bhi Nahi Jaata. – Gulzaar Sahab,”

Shikhar Dhawan was granted divorce by a Delhi Court due to “cruelty” inflicted by his estranged wife, Aesha Mukerji. The court gave him visitation rights to meet his son in India and Australia.

Dhawan, though going through tough times, has remained dedicated to the sport he loves and has kept himself fit by playing local cricket and following the Indian cricket team’s progress in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
