A viral video featuring an unexpected guest at Rashtrapati Bhavan has captivated social media users. During the swearing-in ceremony for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term on Sunday, a mysterious animal was seen strolling casually through the presidential palace grounds.

The ceremony, attended by 8,000 guests including foreign dignitaries, industrialists, and film stars, was a grand affair. However, the video showing a cat-like animal in the background when BJP MP Durga Das Uikey was greeting President Droupadi Murmu has sparked widespread curiosity and speculation online.

Social media users have debated whether the animal was a leopard, an ordinary cat, or a dog, sharing the clip alongside various theories.

“Lmao..is it edited or what? How come no one noticed this. Looks like a big cat,” said one user.

“Seems a damn leopard due to tail and gait. People were really lucky it peacefully passed,” commented another.

“You can notice it here as well in the first 5 seconds, probably a domesticated cat,” a third user said

Meanwhile, President Murmu administered the oath of office and secrecy to a 72-member Council of Ministers, which includes 30 cabinet ministers, 36 Ministers of State (MoS), and five MoS with independent charge.

Key figures such as Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman, and S. Jaishankar continue as Cabinet ministers, with 11 ministers from NDA alliance partners joining the new Council of Ministers.

In a post on X, PM Modi expressed his enthusiasm for serving 140 crore Indians and working with the Council of Ministers to elevate India to new heights of progress. He took charge on Monday morning, signing his first file focused on the welfare of farmers.
