Watch: Raghav Chadha Turns Blinkit Delivery Partner For A Day, Drops ‘Stay Tuned’ Sparking Curiosity
Rajya Sabha MP steps out of Parliament and into the life of a gig worker to understand ground realities, sparking curiosity and conversation across social media.
Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has surprised many by stepping into the shoes of a Blinkit delivery partner for a day. In a teaser video shared on his social media handle, Chadha is seen setting aside his formal political identity and experiencing the fast-paced life of a gig worker. The short clip has gone viral, with viewers eager to know what unfolds next.
The video opens with Chadha changing into a Blinkit-branded T-shirt and jacket. Moments later, he receives a delivery bag from an on-duty rider, marking the beginning of his on-ground experience. He is then seen riding pillion on a scooter, accompanying the delivery partner to a store to collect items for an order. The journey continues as they head towards the customer’s location, offering a glimpse into the time-bound, demanding nature of delivery work.
As the duo reach the destination building, they enter the lift and walk towards the customer’s doorstep. Just when the moment of interaction is expected, the screen cuts to black. The teaser ends with a simple message: “Stay tuned.” This sudden pause has only intensified curiosity, leaving social media users speculating about the message Chadha intends to convey.
Away from boardrooms, at the grassroots. I lived their day.

Alongside the video, Chadha wrote, “Away from boardrooms, at the grassroots. I lived their day. Stay tuned!” The line reflects his attempt to understand life beyond policy discussions and parliamentary debates, choosing instead to experience the realities faced by millions of gig workers across India.
This move is not without context. Chadha has previously raised concerns in Parliament about the working conditions of platform and gig workers. He has spoken about issues such as low and unpredictable earnings, long working hours, lack of health insurance, and absence of social security benefits. By becoming a delivery partner for a day, he appears to be reinforcing his belief that policies must be shaped by real-world understanding.
The teaser also comes at a time when discussions around gig worker rights are gaining momentum. In December 2025, a Blinkit delivery executive’s video about his earnings had gone viral, sparking nationwide debate on the sustainability and fairness of platform-based jobs. The delivery partner later met Chadha, turning the conversation into a broader dialogue about dignity of labour and worker protections.
Chadha’s on-ground experiment has drawn mixed reactions. Many have praised the gesture as thoughtful and necessary, saying leaders must step into the lives of ordinary workers to understand their struggles. Others are waiting to see what concrete message or initiative follows this symbolic act.
What stands out is the simplicity of the act. There were no speeches, no elaborate announcements, only a short clip showing a lawmaker quietly following a delivery route. It highlights the contrast between decision-making rooms and the streets where policies play out in everyday life.
As the teaser suggests, this is only the beginning. With “Stay tuned” flashing across screens, viewers now wait to see whether this experience will translate into stronger advocacy, sharper policy discussions, or concrete steps for improving the lives of India’s growing gig workforce.
