Wearing masks made compulsory in Maharashtra

With surge in Covid 19 cases in Maharashtra, the state government announced making use of face masks mandatory in public places except open places.

The state government issued an order yesterday on June 4, 2022. The government has raised concerns over surge in Covid19 cases. The additional chief secretary Dr Pradeep Vyas in a letter to all district authorities have informed that wearing masks in trains, buses, cinema halls, auditoriums, offices, hospitals, colleges and schools is a must.
