Maharashtra | February 15, 2026: Maharashtra is set to experience a fresh spell of intense heat as summer-like conditions return across the state on Monday, February 16. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), dry and hot weather will dominate most regions, with a steady rise in minimum temperatures and heatwave-like conditions in several districts.

Although the influence of a new western disturbance is likely to begin from February 17, there is no rainfall forecast for February 16. A change in wind direction is expected to increase heat and humidity levels, especially in coastal areas, making conditions more uncomfortable.

Konkan Region Weather Update

Districts including Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg will witness strong sunlight and hot, humid weather.

  • Mumbai temperature forecast:
    • Maximum: 34°C to 36°C
    • Minimum: 22°C to 24°C
      Morning haze may occur in some areas, but afternoon heat will intensify. High humidity along the coastline will increase discomfort. The possibility of rain or cloudy weather remains negligible.

Western Maharashtra Outlook

Regions such as Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, and Solapur will also face dry and hot conditions.
