Weather Update :- Extremely heavy rainfall likely at isolated places over Konkan and Goa

Pune, July 26: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places, with extremely heavy rainfall expected at isolated locations over Konkan-Goa, ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, and Vidarbha. Additionally, there is a likelihood of heavy rainfall at isolated places in Marathwada. Thunderstorms with lightning are also expected at isolated locations over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Vidarbha.

Moreover, squally winds are predicted along and off the Maharashtra coast during the next 24 hours.

As per the latest forecast, rain is very likely at most places over Maharashtra and Goa States during the next 24 hours. Residents in the affected regions are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated on weather alerts to ensure their safety during this period of inclement weather
