Pimpri: A letter asking, “What’s My Mistake?” has become the talk of the town in the Chinchwad constituency. This letter has touched the hearts of the citizens of Chinchwad. Reflecting on many memories from the past year while serving as a representative and worker, former opposition leader Nana Kate has directly asked the citizens, “What’s my mistake?”

Nana Kate has sent this letter to households across the constituency to communicate directly with the citizens. In the letter, he tries to connect with them, reminiscing about his journey from being a local worker to a representative. He highlights the vision for development in the constituency, which was initially on paper, and the efforts to turn it into reality. Despite facing challenges, he states that the passion for work never diminished, regardless of whether he received support from the citizens or not. From 2007 to 2024, his commitment has remained consistent. Putting aside success and failure, his primary objective has been to serve and dedicate himself to the citizens, raising the question, “What exactly was my mistake?” through his letter.

Strong Criticism of Dynastic Politics

In his letter, Nana Kate also strongly criticizes the dynastic politics prevalent in the Chinchwad constituency. He states, “Today, due to the directionless leadership driven by dynastic politics, the common man has been neglected. There is a growing fear that the dream of development in the Chinchwad constituency is shattering. Over the past ten years, the pace of development in Chinchwad has slowed down. In the area known as an IT city, the traffic situation has become dire in recent years, leading some IT companies to relocate. This has raised concerns about employment issues. Thus, solving the traffic problem in this area will be my priority. The development in Pimple Saudagar is comparable to Koregaon Park in Pune, and I aim to take the entire constituency forward. For this, I have decided to stand for election again. I want to understand what I did wrong in the past and what improvements are needed now. I am coming back to serve you. I seek your support, best wishes, and blessings.”
