World’s Youngest Female Chartered Accountant is an Indian: Nandini Agarwal
At just 19, Nandini Agarwal set a Guinness World Record and secured All-India Rank 1 in CA finals.
Success often defies age, and Nandini Agarwal’s remarkable journey proves it. Hailing from Morena, Madhya Pradesh, Nandini became the world’s youngest female Chartered Accountant in 2021 at just 19 years and 330 days, a feat recognized by the Guinness World Records. Not only did she achieve this milestone, but she also topped the CA final exam, scoring 614 out of 800 (76.75%) and surpassing 83,000 candidates nationwide.
Nandini’s journey began early. She skipped two grades in school, clearing her Class 10 exams at 13 and Class 12 at 15. Inspired by a Guinness World Record holder who visited her school when she was in Class 11, she resolved to achieve a record of her own.
Despite her academic brilliance, Nandini faced challenges when securing an apprenticeship at the age of 16. “Even small firms were reluctant to take me on due to my age,” she shared. However, these setbacks only fueled her determination to succeed.
Family support played a crucial role in her success. Nandini and her elder brother, Sachin Agarwal, share a history of academic excellence. Both are alumni of Victor Convent School, where they jointly topped Morena district in their Class 12 exams in 2017, each scoring 94.5%. Sachin, then 21, also excelled in the 2021 CA finals, securing an impressive All-India Rank 18 with 568 marks.
In an interview, Nandini credited her brother as her biggest motivator. “Our company is unique,” she joked, referring to their shared achievements. Their father, Naresh Chandra Gupta, a tax practitioner and their mother, Dimple Gupta, a homemaker, provided unwavering support throughout their journey.
