The cases included 5 pregnant women, 15 fever-stricken individuals, and their family members.

Two Zika cases were found in Erandwane, including a 46-year-old doctor and his 15-year-old daughter. Samples from 5 pregnant and 3 suspected patients were sent to NIV. According to the assistant health officer, the municipal health department has surveyed 2,422 houses in the area.
