Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has made a significant announcement aimed at supporting students and reducing unemployment. According to the new scheme, students who have passed their 12th grade will receive a monthly stipend of 6,000 rupees, diploma students will receive 8,000 rupees, and graduates will be given 10,000 rupees per month.
Shinde announced this initiative on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi Day in Pandharpur. He emphasized that this stipend will be provided for a year to help students gain work experience through apprenticeships, which will subsequently enhance their employability.

Shinde stated, “Our government is focusing on creating a skilled workforce. This decision will increase the number of skilled youth in the industry, and students will benefit greatly from this stipend while doing apprenticeships.”
The Chief Minister highlighted that this initiative is a part of the Mahayuti government’s efforts to address unemployment and support the state’s youth. “Students will get this money to do apprenticeship for a year. After this, they will gain work experience, which will help them secure jobs,” Shinde said.
He also pointed out that this is the first time in history that a government has introduced such a scheme. The stipend will enable students to gain practical experience in factories and other industries, making it easier for them to find employment in the future.
Shinde reiterated the government’s dedication to supporting the poor, stating, “The grand coalition government belongs to the poor. Eknath Shinde said that with a beloved sister, brothers are also beloved.”
