2 Vande Bharat Express planned for India-Pakistan cricket World Cup match

Pune : The Western Railway has planned to run two special ‘Mumbai to Ahmedabad’ Vande Bharat Express for cricket-loving passengers for the India-Pakistan World Cup match.
This is the first time in the history of Indian Railways to run a special express for cricket matches.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Saurabh Kumar, DCM, Mumbai Central said, “Yes, 2 Vande Bharat Express are being planned by the Railway division specially for the upcoming India vs Pakistan Cricket World Cup match. They will run from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. All the other details about the 2 trains will be announced soon.”
As per further information, the India-Pakistan World Cup match is on Saturday, October 14 at 2 PM at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The seating capacity of the stadium is 1,32,000 and all the tickets for the matches have been sold. Due to this, the Railway division is planning to run two Vande Bharat Express between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, late night before the match and early morning on the match day.
