3 ATM Machines to be installed at Pune railway station

Nine new ATM machines (Automated teller machines) will be installed for the convenience of passengers at Pune (3 machines), Chinchwad, Kolhapur, Miraj, Akurdi, Talegaon, Pimpri through E-AUCTION.
E-auction is an online platform for open bidding of earning contracts tenders of Indian Railways. Through which 30 minutes to 1 hours is available for online bidding for various participant contractors.

At the end of bidding, the highest bidder is allotted tender immediately online.
Letter of allocation is given to the successful highest bidder on the same day.

This E-auction has now replaced earlier traditional manual as well as E-tendering systems which were taking around 30-45 days for tender finalisation. Instead of earlier 30-45 days, now E-auction tenders are finalised in only 1 day (on same day E-auction).

This has saved much time for contractors as well as railways. And it also helped to increase revenue earning of railways.

As a part of this E-auction system-

Pune Division has successfully conducted E-Auction for the contract of 9 ATMs at 7 railway stations. It’s an earning contract for railways through which contractor pays annual license fees to railways.

7 stations details as follows-

1. Talegaon : 50000/-
2. Pimpri : 50000/-
3. Akurdi :  50000/-
4. Miraj :  50000/-
5. Kolhapur :  60000/-
6. Chinchwad :  50000/-
7. Pune :  225000/- (3 ATM machines)

The total Revenue of Rs. 30.15 Lakh will be generated for railways through these contracts during the contract period of 05 yrs.
