Actress Janhvi Kapoor shared a harrowing behind-the-scenes experience from her shoot for the song “Chuttamale” in Devara: Part 1. Taking to Instagram, Janhvi revealed that she filmed the sequence in jellyfish-filled waters while dressed in a delicate silk saree, adding to the danger. Despite the risks, Janhvi remained determined to make the scene memorable, hoping it would be worth the risk.
She posted several moments from her Thailand shoot, including a video where she candidly shared her fears of entering the hazardous waters. “This might be the most life-threatening moment,” she said, while also showing a “beware” sign warning about the jellyfish. Clips also included fun moments of the actress building sandcastles, traveling by jetty and taking selfies.
Janhvi captioned her post: “Too late for some #Chuttamale BTS? I think not.”
Filmmaker Koratala Siva hinted that Devara: Part 2 will explore more of Janhvi’s character, offering fresh dynamics and unexpected twists. Devara: Part 1 features a star-studded cast including Jr. NTR, Saif Ali Khan, Shruti Marathe and Prakash Raj.
