Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Palghar, and the entire Konkan coastal belt are expected to witness dry to slightly warm weather on February 8. The maximum temperature in Mumbai is likely to range between 33°C and 35°C, while the minimum temperature may remain between 21°C and 23°C.
Although there will not be a major temperature change compared to Saturday, light morning coolness and noticeable afternoon heat will be felt. Coastal areas may see occasional cloud cover, but the possibility of rainfall remains extremely low.
Western Maharashtra
Cities including Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, and Solapur are seeing a gradual decline in cold conditions. On Sunday, these regions will experience slightly cool mornings, followed by warmer temperatures as the day progresses. With a marginal rise in minimum temperatures, the winter chill is no longer as intense as before.
IMD forecasts suggest that weather in western Maharashtra will remain largely dry over the next few days, with a steady rise in temperatures expected.
Marathwada and Vidarbha
Most districts in Marathwada and Vidarbha are likely to experience clear and dry weather conditions on February 8. However, regions such as Nagpur, Gondia, and Yavatmal may see more noticeable temperature variations. Day temperatures are expected to remain slightly above normal, while night-time cold will be less prominent.
The overall pattern will include cool mornings and warmer daytime conditions across these regions.
