Pune Metro is awaiting approval to begin service on Ruby Hall–Ramwadi stretch

Pune : Ruby Hall to Ramwadi Metro stretch to be inaugurated next week
The Central Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) commissioner has also granted conditional approval to begin passenger service here, but the state government has not yet granted permission. The Pune Metro has finished work on the Ruby Hall to Ramwadi stretch. Currently, commuters are requesting that passenger service begin as soon as feasible.
A student studying in Cusrow Wadia College, which is located on the Ramwadi to Ruby Hall Clinic stretch expressed his excitement for the stretch’s opening. Due to the diversion of traffic for the Sadhu Vaswani railway overbridge demolition, there is currently a great deal of traffic congestion. Thus, now is the critical moment to begin metro services along this section. He is a resident of Ramwadi and is eagerly waiting for the metro service to start soon.
Another resident of Ramwadi expressed his confusion over Pune Metro’s decision to hold off on inaugurating the stretch until officials or politicians had a chance. Political leaders will not be traveling in the metro; after all, people will.
The leader of the Shiv Sena, Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray’s (UBT) Nitin Bhujbal, stated that since the metro was built with public funds, there was no need to rush into an official inauguration. They insist that the Pune Metro immediately begin service from Ruby Hall to Ramwadi.
According to a senior Maha-Metro official, the Ruby Hall to Ramwadi metro line extension has been approved by the CMRS, subject to certain requirements. Fixes for the found errors are in progress. Furthermore, a proposal for the stretch’s inauguration has been made to the state government.
