All you need to know to about new guidelines issued by Maha govt  

The Maharashtra state government on Saturday, March 27, 2021  released its ‘Mission Begin again’ guidelines for the state, aimed at regulating the Covid-19 surge.

The guidelines will be in force from March 28, 2021 to April 15.

Main points for citizens to follow : 

1)  Wearing face covers / masks is mandatory in public places, at workplaces and also during travel.

2) Social distancing in public places – At least a distance of 6 feet must be maintained 

3) No social, cultural, political, religious gatherings will be allowed in the state. Penalty of Rs 1,000 for flouting night curfew rules, while Rs 500 would be imposed for not wearing a mask. 

4)    Consumption of liquor, paan, gutka, tobacco in public places not allowed

5) Spitting in public places is punishable with a fine according to area regulations.

6) Work from Home: Companies should encourage work from home to its employees. 

7) Screening citizens and maintaining Hygiene is a must : Each organisation / institution must make provision of thermal screening, hand wash and keep sanitisers at entry, exit points of common areas.

8) Frequent sanitisation of common facilities, workplaces between shifts

9) Social distancing: Employees to ensure adequate physical distancing, staggered work hours and lunch breaks.

10) Private offices strength @ 50 percent – All private offices operate at 50% its capacity. Health and other essential services have been excluded from this rule

11) Cinema halls, malls, auditoriums, restaurants to remain shut between 8 pm till 7 am. Restaurants can continue with home deliveries. Violators flouting the norms shall be strictly fined. 

12) More than five people will not be allowed in any public place, including gardens and beaches, and violators will be fined.

13) Not more than 50 people will be allowed during wedding ceremonies and not more than 20 people will be allowed during last rites.
