Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra: Rahul Gandhi To Enter Maharashtra On March 10
Local Congress party leaders have confirmed that Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi will be entering Nandurbar, Maharashtra from Gujarat on March 10. The Yatra will move from Nandurbar to Dhule, Malegaon, and Nashik. Rahul Gandhi is expected to offer prayers at the famous Kalaram temple dedicated to Lord Ram and at the Trimbakeshwar temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, they said.
Rahul Gandhi will address a rally in Bhiwandi, Thane. After that event, on March 13 or 14, the Yatra will move to Mumbai to conclude the public rally.
The Manipur-Mumbai route runs east-west. The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is set to cover 6,700 km across 15 states. It aspires to spread the word of “nyay (justice)” while meeting ordinary people along the road.
On Friday, taking to X, the Congress leader announced a statewide protest by party workers against the law and order situation, the truth of the double engine government in Uttar Pradesh is that it is a “guarantee of jungle raj”.
He posted, “The law and order situation of Uttar Pradesh is the biggest example of how BJP and Modi media together are doing ‘business of lies’. In some places bodies of minor sisters were hanging from trees, in other places there was murder by crushing them with bricks. Somewhere the audacity of gang rape by BJP members on the IIT-BHU campus, and somewhere a woman judge was forced to commit suicide after not getting justice. This is the condition of that state whose law and order system Modi media never gets tired of praising. The recent murder of a Dalit student returning from class 10 exams in Rampur on the demand of the Ambedkar memorial is the most gruesome example of the dilapidated law and order situation in UP. Uttar Pradesh Congress workers will raise their voices for justice by protesting in every district and every tehsil today against the BJP system and this alliance of criminals. It is time to come out of the false image created by the Modi media and see the truth, a double engine government is the ‘guarantee of Jungle Raj’.”
