City’s first BMX track to be set up in Pimple Saudagar
BMX, Bicycle Motorcross, city’s first ever Bicycle and Skate park that will induce a sense of adventure in the experience of skaters and bicyclists, will be built in Pimple Saudagar, near P. K Chowk.
While addressing the briefing, Municipal Commissioner, Shravan Hardikar informed that the BMX track – 22 × 30 m – will be an attractive spot for the bicyclist and skaters, who wanted to add adventure into their activity.
The BMX sports is one of the popular sports in foreign countries with skaters, cyclists and motorcyclist performing some deadly and adventurous stunts. The track will be built in linear garden of the area, and it will be a mini track as compared to the actual dimension of track in BMX sport. The commissioner also expressed, he said, “Happy to see the growing proportion of bicycle users in the city”.
