In a video, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Civil Aviation Minister of India, while inspecting the new terminal building of Pune airport, is seen scolding Pune airport officials over several non-clean areas at the new terminal of Pune airport.

Scindia is heard saying in the video “Why is this not cleaned?”, “Swachh Pahije Ha Mala (I want cleanliness)”, “Saaf kara hyala (Clean this)” etc.

As per information from a press statement, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia asserted in Pune that their aim is the development and progress of the entire Maharashtra.

Scindia had come to Pune Airport to take a pre-inaugural review of the newly constructed airport in Pune. On this occasion, Scindia was interacting with the media.

Expressing his thoughts Scindia further said, “Pune is a historical & cultural heritage, capital of Chhattrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Peshwa Empire & home of my ancestor Mahadaji Shinde. The development of this city and its progress in civil aviation has been initiated by the resolve and mandate of the Prime Minister of India to create a culture of development and progress.”

Scindia further said, “Pune has great potential. Pune is a national center for information and technology, education and manufacturing.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde along with Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar all share the same ideology that Pune should be at the forefront of civil aviation. A product of the same thinking is this new terminal.”

Scindia also said that the preparations for the new Pune airport terminal have been completed.
