MSEDCL has urged people to be cautious of low-voltage power lines, feeder pillars and other electrical systems while flying a kite on the occasion of Makar Sankranti

“There have been incidents where thread (Manja) got stuck on electric poles and especially children try to remove thread with the help of wooden or iron rod and there are chances of children getting electric shock. Even adults should take care of it while celebrating the holidays,” said an MSEDCL spokesperson.
