Day temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Rayalaseema; at isolated places over north interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over Marathwada, Telangana, south interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal; at a few places over Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and coastal Karnataka; at isolated places over Konkan, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and east Madhya Pradesh.
They were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at most places over Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi; at many places over Punjab; at a few places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh; at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 37.5°C was reported at Kurnool (Rayalaseema).

Night temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over Konkan and Goa; at a few places over Gujarat State; isolated places over Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Odisha, interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe. They were below normal (- 1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and near normal over rest parts of the country. Today, the lowest minimum temperature of 14.1°C is reported at Ferozepur (Punjab) over the plains of the country.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Lakshadweep and at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, west Madhya Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, interior Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Mainly dry weather has prevailed in Assam and Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Marathwada, Telangana and Rayalaseema.
