Deepotsav celebrated on Tripurari Poornima in Kondhwa

Pune: A grand Deepotsav event was organized and celebrated on November 27 on the occasion of Tripurari Poornima in Shri Sankat Haran Mahadev Mandir in NIBM by ex-corporator Tanaji Lonkar.

As per information, thousands of devotees of Kondhwa and NIBM area participated in the event. The event was inaugurated at the hands of Santosh Sonawane, Kondhwa Police station Senior Inspector and Trishul Nath Baba. Tanaji Lonkar, former corporator, Bharat Chaudhari, Narayan Lonkar, Nanda Lonkar, Rajendra Babar, Anil Jagtap, Balasaheb Harpale, Datta Aba Lonkar, Dattu Gote, Appa Rokde, Vijay Pawar, Kaka Pawar, Ashok Lonkar etc were present. 

It is worthy to note that various cultural events are organized by Lonkar in Mahadev Temple for the past many years. Bharat Chaudhari, ex corporator said that preserving the culture is everyone’s responsibility. Sonawane praised the devotees’ enthusiasm and the appropriate event arrangements too.

For 22 years, large-scale cultural events have been organized in the temple in which thousands of devotees take part, especially on the occasion of Deepotsav and Shravan Somwar.
