First Editors Guild Meeting Held in Pune

Editors from Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad came together for the first Editors Guild meeting. A group has been formed of the Editors Guild of Pune-Pimpri Digital Media because they believe that digital media is becoming increasingly important for sharing news and information, especially through platforms like social media.

This guild aims to support journalists who work in digital media by solving their problems and providing a platform for collaboration. Tikam Shekhawat played a key role in setting up this organization.

At the meeting, Nitin Patil (Editor of policenama.com) led the discussions. Other attendees included Vivek Inamdar from mpcnews.in, Mubarak Ansari from punekarnews.in, Tikam Shekhawat, Renuka Suryavanshi from mypunepulse.com, and Archana More from thescoope.in.

Avinash Chilekar from pcbtoday.in and Basit Shaikh from Policenama couldn’t make it.

The meeting focused on planning the future activities of the Editors Guild. The executive team consists of Nitin Patil as the Founder President, Mubarak Ansari as the Executive Chairman, Tikam Shekhawat as the General Secretary, Vivek Inamdar and Avinash Chilekar as Senior Vice Presidents, Renuka Suryavanshi as the Secretary, Archana More as the Treasurer, and Basit Shaikh as an Executive Member.
