In a shocking incident in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a horse went wild and bit 12 people, including an elderly couple, on Friday.

The chaos happened in Panduranga Nagar, Vadwali Shivar, where the horse attacked five to six people, including Narahari Gaikwad and his wife Sumanbai.

Quick response from villagers led to the injured couple being taken to the government hospital in Paithan for immediate treatment. Later, they were moved to Ghati Hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for further care. After this alarming event, the horse moved to another area, where it bit several more people.

The incident has left the local community fearful, raising concerns about safety and the unpredictability of such events.

Narahari Gaikwad, one of the victims, shared his experience, saying, “It was terrifying. The horse came out of nowhere and bit us without any warning.”

Authorities are investigating the incident to understand what caused the horse to behave aggressively. Meanwhile, residents are urged to remain cautious and report any unusual animal behaviour to prevent similar incidents in the future.
